Understanding Credits
Learn how Lead Extract credits work, including lifetime ownership, agency pricing, automatic refunds, and data quality guarantees. Only pay for identified visitors.
Understanding how Lead Extract credits work is essential for managing your account and budget effectively. Our credit system is designed to be fair, transparent, and agency-friendly, ensuring you only pay for valuable, identified visitors.
What is a Credit?
In Lead Extract, 1 credit = 1 identified visitor. When we successfully identify a person visiting your website, it counts as one credit. This single credit includes all the information we can provide about that visitor:
-
Full name and professional email address
-
Job title and role
-
Company information (name, industry, size, location)
-
Complete browsing behavior and activity history
-
Social media profiles (when available)
All of this information is included in that single creditthere are no additional charges for accessing more data fields or enrichment.
What About Unidentified Visitors?
Here's where Lead Extract stands out: you are never charged for unidentified visitors. If we can only identify the company but not the specific person, or if we can't identify the visitor at all, it doesn't count against your credit balance.
This means you only pay for actionable leads with complete contact information that you can actually reach out to. Company-only visitors (where we know the business but not the individual) are shown in your dashboard for context, but they don't consume credits.
Lifetime Ownership of Identified Visitors
When a visitor is identified and charged as 1 credit, you own that lead forever with lifetime ownership. This is a crucial benefit that sets Lead Extract apart:
-
If the same person returns to your website after 1 month, 6 months, or even 5 years, they will NOT be charged again
-
You'll still see all their new activity and behavior in your dashboard
-
Their information remains accessible indefinitely with no recurring charges
This lifetime model ensures that you're building a valuable database of identified visitors over time, without worrying about being charged multiple times for the same person.
Credits for Agency and Multi-Website Accounts
If you're an agency managing multiple client websites or a business tracking several domains, our credit system is designed to be fair and cost-effective:
When the same visitor is identified across multiple websites in your account, they count as only 1 credit total, not 1 credit per website. For example:
-
John Smith visits Client A's website → 1 credit charged
-
The same John Smith visits Client B's website → 0 additional credits (already identified)
-
John returns to Client A's website next month → 0 additional credits (lifetime ownership)
This makes Lead Extract extremely cost-effective for agencies and businesses with multiple web properties.
Automatic Refunds for Removed Visitors
Quality matters more than quantity. If you delete a visitor from your dashboard (perhaps because they're not relevant to your business or the data quality wasn't satisfactory), the credit is automatically refunded to your account.
This ensures you're only paying for leads that are valuable to your business. There's no risk in trying out the platformif the leads don't meet your expectations, simply remove them and get your credits back.
Data Quality Ratings and Manual Review
We take data quality seriously. Every identified visitor goes through our quality assurance process, and we assign confidence ratings to help you understand the accuracy of the identification. If you ever find that the data quality isn't meeting your standards, you can rate the data quality directly in the dashboard.
When you provide feedback about data quality, our team manually reviews the visitor information. If we determine the identification was incorrect or low quality, we'll:
-
Automatically refund the credit
-
Improve our identification algorithms
-
Use your feedback to enhance future identifications
You can access the data quality feedback form by clicking on any identified visitor and selecting the option to rate the data quality.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What happens if I run out of credits?
A: When your credit balance reaches zero, new visitor identifications will be paused until you purchase more credits. However, you'll still be able to access all previously identified visitors and their data, and company-level identifications will continue to show in your dashboard.
Q: Do credits expire?
A: No, credits never expire. You can use them at your own pace, whether that's over weeks, months, or years.
Q: Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied?
A: We offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy with the quality of identifications, you can delete visitors to get automatic credit refunds, or contact our support team to discuss your concerns. We're committed to providing value and will work with you to ensure you're satisfied.
Q: How are credits calculated for team members?
A: If someone on your team visits your website, they will be identified and charged as 1 credit (unless they were already identified before). We recommend adding team members' email addresses to an exclusion list to avoid charging credits for internal traffic.
