Connect Pipedrive CRM

Step-by-step guide to integrate Lead Extract with Pipedrive CRM and automatically sync leads.

Connect Lead Extract to Pipedrive CRM to automatically send identified visitors as new leads or organizations in your sales pipeline.

Prerequisites

  • An active Pipedrive account with admin access

  • Lead Extract account with tracking pixel installed

Connection Steps

Step 1: Get Your Pipedrive API Key

  1. Log in to your Pipedrive account

  2. Click your profile icon and go to Personal Preferences

  3. Click API in the left sidebar

  4. Copy your API token

Step 2: Connect in Lead Extract

  1. In Lead Extract, go to Settings → Integrations

  2. Find Pipedrive and click Connect

  3. Paste your Pipedrive API token

  4. Click Authorize

Configure Sync Settings

After connecting, configure how leads are synced:

  • Create as - Choose to create Organizations, Leads, or both

  • Default pipeline - Select which pipeline new leads go into

  • Default stage - Choose the initial stage for new leads

  • Owner - Assign leads to a specific user or distribute them

Set Up Automation

To automatically send leads to Pipedrive:

  1. Go to Automations → Create Automation

  2. Set trigger: New visitor identified

  3. Add conditions (optional): Filter by lead score, industry, size, etc.

  4. Set action: Send to Pipedrive

  5. Save and activate

What Data is Synced?

Lead Extract sends the following data to Pipedrive:

  • Company name

  • Website URL

  • Industry

  • Company size

  • Location

  • Pages visited

  • First visit date

  • Lead score

  • Suggested contacts (if available)

Preventing Duplicates

Lead Extract automatically checks for existing organizations in Pipedrive before creating new ones. If a company with the same domain already exists, we'll update it instead of creating a duplicate.

Troubleshooting

Leads not appearing in Pipedrive?

  • Check that your automation is active

  • Verify the API key is still valid

  • Check automation conditions - visitors may not match your filters

  • Review failed automations log for errors
